Phase One · Facility

Designed for repeatable industrial workflows.

The working concept combines a winterized fixed facility, automated cleaning technology, recovery and residual controls, quality-led railcar services, and partner-enabled mobile reach.

The facility we are designing.

A robust Phase One platform is being laid out around dedicated work zones, controlled material flows, winter-ready infrastructure, and the flexibility to keep railcars moving through a coordinated service journey.

2

Dedicated Wash Bays

Planned automated cleaning systems, heat, extraction, recovery, and segregated residual handling.

10

Shop Positions

Inspection, maintenance, light repair, bad-order support, quality tooling, and AAR/NDT readiness.

2

Interior Blast Bays

Controlled surface-preparation work zones designed around containment, recovery, and repeatable execution.

2

Coating & Lining Positions

Purpose-planned positions for interior protection, cure management, inspection, and documentation.

4

Contemplated Transload Gantries

Selective, contained transfer infrastructure supporting qualified commodities and customer workflows.

Mobile Repairs

Partner-Enabled Field Reach

A structured operating partnership is being explored for field inspection, bad-order triage, and defined light repair.

Mobile Cleaning

Under Consideration

Mobile railcar cleaning is not included in Northline’s current Phase One operational plan. Any future capability would require separate commercial, engineering, environmental, equipment, permitting, railroad, and operating validation.

24/7/365

Scalable Operating Model

The facility is being planned to scale toward continuous 24/7/365 operations as customer demand, staffing, approvals, and operating conditions require.

A fixed hub with mobile reach

Put the right response where the railcar is.

Northline is evaluating a structured partnership model for selected field inspection, bad-order triage, and light repair. The mobile layer is intended for defined field work; jobs that need cleaning systems, controlled containment, deeper tooling, or certified shop infrastructure route back to the Groveton hub.

Counts shown are current concept-design targets and remain subject to final facility design and engineering. Facility configuration, equipment, activity levels, throughput, mobile support, certifications, partnerships, and service availability remain subject to site control, permits, railroad coordination and access, operating availability, financing, definitive agreements, staffing, insurance, and customer or fleet-owner authorization.
